[ATTACH] Our latest.
Finished woodie #1 in 2012 and sold her at Mecum auction in Monterey August this year. Woodie #2 (not so much a HAMB type project) is well...
Thanks. The Hupp is still around. Did you know that some of the Hupmobiles were assembled in Canada?
Hood was 50 grill and front fenders were 49. Dash was 48. Spare tire cover was 36 and tail lights were 38 Chrysler.
is the 1947 chrysler town & country still available? If so, please send me info including pictures if you have them. thanks, Gary
Woodie 1, the green one is gone. We sold it at the Mecum auction in Monterey in August. Woodie 2 is coming along. A little more horsepower for...
I did a major build thread on here for the green car, but I haven't posted much on the current project as it would probably draw annoying comments...
that car is on air. Ride height is a couple inches higher. I'm doing another shoebox woodie that will be pretty low, but without air ride.
I'm using 205r75X15's on the front and 215r75x15's on the rear of this car.

I finished this when I was 66. I hope to finish the next one (another shoebox woodie) this year and then it's on to the next one. I'm 68 and...
Nice. I'm also partial to the wood-clad cars. Here's my 51 with 49 front group. I'm doing another one a 50 this time.
My model A remains in the planning stages, but I do have a '59 Caddy 390 already built and waiting along side the 31 coupe body across the shop...
Here are a few updated pic's.
Welcome, your project looks pretty good. Here are a couple of shots of the one I finished last year.
I'm thinking it'll look pretty good with the T-bird themed interior.
OK, I'll confess. I have a dash fetish. I used a 47 Merc dash for my Hupmobile. Had to slice and dice that one quite a bit. I stretched a 48...
not sure I'd call it wild, but, here's mine. I've got another one in the works.
OK, I'm biased, but the 49-51 Fords & Mercs at least deserve an honorable mention.
Thanks for all the nice comments. It was a lot of fun, but kind of glad it's over. Got a first in class and 2 outstanding awards for interior...
here are a couple of mine
I posted some Autorama set-up pic's as another thread. Here's 1 of them.
I put my 51 Ford woodie in the Sacramento Autorama. The show runs today through Sunday.
I know it's not in the same league as most of the stuff here, but here's my fish. I call him Sushi. I made it a few years ago while recovering...
