It's amazing the places that stuff travel to! Always looks like I'm sculpting a car out of the stuff but 90% is on the floor and in every crack...
Looking great! Slick sand has worked well any time I've used it.
The best part about working with metal is you can cut it out and weld it back together again. Glad to see you're back at it!
Alrighty, I'm back! I had a much longer hiatus from this project than I had anticipated but I'm refusing to let this project and build thread die....
Nice clean work Gene.

Glad the weather broke for you guys. Those last few photos of the hot rods and the big open sky are hard to not be a part of. Lol

Ok I'm still committed to not letting this thread die and it's been a bit since I posted anything so although there's no progress on the tub,...
I was treated to Good Guys Del Mar in 2014. Awesome show, I'm itching to go back.
Looking good Gene! You got lucky with those hinge pins on a ford panel I was working on I had to drill them all out.
Again, really nice work! I'm interested in the upholstery modification process so keep it coming. :)
Good for you. Teach 'em young!

Wow! Nice work Tim. Going to be an awesome car full of great details.
This is not a dead build thread. I repeat NOT a dead build thread (for anyone still interested). Farming got busy and I'm helping an old fellow...
I wonder how much you're going to see of each side once the grill shell is in place. At any rate I understand the challenge, the Devil's in the...
