FWIW I think that the '56 Buick tail lights would look a lot better than the 55's....
The only problem with this VW is that you have to be under 2 feet tall to drive it!
And the back window ain't bad....
On the North side of San Antonio, you would roll up to the traffic light on Basse Rd. & Mcullough headed towards the RR tracks right at a 1/4 mile...

OK Billy, so how do you "burn it on" just run the engine up to temp for awhile? If so the stuff looks like it has a good look to it..
And as an option they probably offered AC to keep you from roasting....

Looks great, all it needs is an "A" Roof Skin on it to really set it off....
Satin rates right up there with Patina when it comes to a "finished" look.
