S10 were great little trucks, had 3 over years with same lowering treatment, had to have the 4.3.....got a 2.8 and sold it pretty due to its lack...
Heat has not been an issue with Rustoleum, if your brakes are getting hot enough to damage the paint under normal driving conditions there is...
Rustoleum has worked well for me.
