Yeah that was the hardest part, especially since I wasn't smart enough to do it before painting the shell ,lots of tape !
Thought I could make my own insert for radiator shell , kind of liked the diamond mesh look . Bought some aluminum rod to go with aluminum mesh...

Seeing stop lights are not a problem! :confused: I can live with rake, it was a comprised to allow rear seating other wise it would be alot lower
Rears are 235/75/15, fronts 185/65/15 , so there is abit of tire rake

Just got this thing out of garage and down the road last week . Just looking at stance from side, is it me or is rear up to high?
Not sure by pics if you have frame sitting at roughly ride height but it will alter any angles on engine
No help for replacement, but I've been running same setup in my 63 with no problem just filled it full as i could
Put small chamfer on bushing to lead it into hole would help "square" it up
made my own reverse hanging pedals ,obviously if you use original tank this setup [ATTACH] ain't working
