The Jalopy Journal
paperdog-absolutely. We are always looking to add to our library. We are looking for most anything; manuals, brochures, magazines, etc. I'd be...
Thank you all for your comments and support. Yes, we are a 501(c)3 organization. Chris
Yes, those are E&J sidelights. On the top of the photo is the date-backwards. Looks like 10/14/13-plenty of time to change the lights.
Neat Buick. Check out the shine on the left rear and right front fenders and lack of shine and added support bracket on the side of the left...
Here's a nice 1909-10 EMF. Looks like they brought in the horses to clean up the mess.
T-Head- I agree. Does that make us both smart or wrong?
Looks like an Overland.
I want the record to show I did not join in the monkey business today. This one looks like a 1914 Overland 79T. Lets see if Cannuck agrees.
Yes, it's a Yale. The same photo (without the background removed) is pictured in the Standard Catalog.
If you prefer 4-cylinder Cadillacs, here's a 1909 or '10 and a 1911.
Here are a few 1-cylinder Cadillacs. I've been working on a couple lately, so it seemed fitting. These are a 1903, 1904, 1905, and 1907.
I'd say it's a Baker electric. Notice the lack of mechanical drivetrain under the seat. Also looks like electric sidelights. Cool, unusual car.
Looks like an IHC. Cool Indiana license plate. The "Ind" is covered on the right side, but I have never seen an early prestate (homemade) plate...
Here are a few unusual license plates with cars attached. 1920 Hawaii with a Federal Truck and a 1910 Maryland with a Washington.
She seems awfully happy to be cranking her Reo cut-down, don't you think?
Yes, 1912 Cadillac. I think the plate is European. Looks like a European radiator cap too.
Maxwell- definately.
Too young? Maybe just a helping hand....
Here are a few more kids. With an Overland, Maxwell, and Oldsmobile.
Here's an RCH with a baby and an early woman driver.
We toured Put-In-Bay Island, Ohio last week, but didn't see anything like this.
JUst to show I'm still here. Here's a Marmon, Stearns, and a nearly-new, but slightly used 1913 Overland. Check out the seat covers.
Good or bad, I'm back. Yes, we were touring Ohio, including Put-In-Bay Island. Great time. 43 cars-all 1908-12. No problems all week. Just had to...
Very cool. for what its worth, the railcar was built from a 1912 Model T Ford, making the photo 1912 or newer. The body has removeable front doors...
Neat pic. I think Cannuck will agree...they look like a couple of 1915-16 McLaughlins (of course).
Here are a couple Mercers. I'd even settle for the well-used one with the 1920 Connecticut plate on it.
Looks like a 1909 EMF. Small driver and funny camera angle make it look like a much bigger car. 1909 Mass plate also.
Probably as many Moon dealers as Winton dealers.....ok maybe not quite that many. Very cool photo.
I just found this great early Marmon photo on ebay. I think maybe I'll wear a tie next time I go racing, too. T6-similar emblem to the mystery...
If it wasn't for the large emblem/name plate on the top radiator tank, I'd guess Thomas. Don't know. How about these 2? Both taken in the same...
