WRONG... I had to get an adapter to use my 1965 400 on my 1970 472... Therefore the bolt pattern is not the same. Check out CAD500 for the adapter...
The 429 has a different pattern for the trans, so you will have to have an adaptor for any trans besides a 65-67 Cadi trans
