Yup Ford did do one in 54 I saw one up close and personal at Carlisle.

Out side rings from a 53 ford works really good, I 've used these a few times, they do a good job.
I used it on the garnish molding and trim in my 53 Vicky

I have problems with this system all the time I'd post more if I could just get them to up load
Not sure how early I know you could use it for adjusting shoes from 39 -48 It would be used to roll the cams on the brake adj.
I turned two 5' black snakes loose in my pole building and I can say I have not found any critters at all in there, just a shed skin here or there...
If it has not been cleared over fire up the heat gun it will come right off.
