Can one of you p-shop wizards help me put some big alcoa wheels on my metro van with a 6-8” drop please?
It's referred to as a swamp cooler. Old school air conditioner.
Thanks for the kind words guys. So many new projects, I hardly have time to drive the '54 but that is going to change next year. Check out this...
I would also remove the fenders, but then get a nice panel beating sand bag (preferably leather) and start slowly massaging out the dents hitting...
That says 26.6" diameter. That cant be right.
I hand pounded the ones for my '54
yes
So starter fluid directly into intake manifold should allow it to fire off?
BTW, any tips to priming the updraft? I'm not even sure if starter fluid will work. It just pours back out.
Cool, I have a '54 R-100 [IMG]
I had removed the fuel pump to clean out all the sediment in the glass bowl and it seemed to be giving decent pressure when pumped by hand. I will...
Well it broke free today with the help of a high cranking 12v battery. I also think holding the clutch pedal in (even in neutral) had something to...
I agree, don't want to do more damage than already there. I will let the MMO soak in another week or so before I get really aggressive trying to...
By e way, are there any tricks to priming an updraft carb on initial startup? This is the first one I've had.
Yeah the master cylinder is shot too, but don't want to invest more time/money until I know if it will run.

I was bumping it pretty hard with my tractor over the weekend but decided to let the MMO set up a while longer. I have freed stuck engines sitting...
It has an updraft carb so nothing should have really gotten in that way except maybe a jumping mouse. Luckily no water would have ever gotten in...
Probably best then to just leave the sludge there and not try to flush anything clean unless I remove the head huh?
So I purchased a vehicle a couple months back with the intention of just getting it running and moving under it's own power until I have time to...
As usual it's my favorite event of the year! I will have stuff for sale in spot #6611 this year outside on the east half mood area.
Here's a bad picture of ride height. Basically about 4" higher than parked height, and I'm using the original bench seat. [IMG] [IMG]
I have not checked in in awhile. Recent picture: [IMG]
I'm set to buy a Sloan Kwikload trailer this weekend. Thanks for all the input and positive feedback. It will be my first personal car hauler.

CLR and fine steel wool should have them looking good as new.
guess I'll bring this one out of the archives..lol. I need one of these decals for my rocket launcher, but c'mon $30 shipped for a F'n sticker???
Maybe if more tire shops would shave tires the price of true whitewalls would come down because $250+ each is rediculous. This is the way to...
Yeah after reading all the problems with these WWW vendors plus the HIGH prices that you are stuck with, I went ahead and found a guy to shave...
