I had the same noise on mine and it was the vacuum hose to the heater box valve... fixed that and the noise went away..
My neck hurts just looking at it... :eek:

Yeah, my thoughts exactly... I'm not fond of the look of the factory ones... so I'll be working on them asap....
That is exactly the look I was after... I did purchase two from a 55/56 and they fit somewhat except at the bottom where those aftermarket ones...
