what other t5 options do I have for swapping out on the 292 that might bolt up pretty easy?

would a 5 speed tranny from at 2.3 work in the 292 or would that be too weak. Im not looking to hot rod around just to cruise at highway speeds....
i read that the ford mustang t5 bottom bolt holes would line up, thats the only tranny I heard. The mustang t5 is the one I want to put on mine.

so the splines and everything fall right into place once you get the bell housing mounted?
so im thinking on swapping out my 3 speed tranny with a t5 for my galaxie 292 has anyone ever done this? whats involved and how much of a headache...
also how much did they cost you?
