Cups just sit in the old spring perch. No need to weld them in. The top old spring cup though is welding on the tubing as shown. I did not off set...

As far as bagging a car...one of the easiest I have done with how low it goes. It ride A LOT better than stock with the right shocks. I am bummed...
Stock suspension, no problems with angles. There are several guys who have bagged AMC's, just have to do some searching and pretty much everyone...
