Took a near flawless '31 Model A windsheild frame and chopped the shit out af it. The boys at the model a club will not be happy, but it looks sooooo much cooler. little bit of finish welding to do but it fits nice for a '31 frame on a '28 body

1.5 inches will get rid of the old chop area that wasn't done the way I would do it. Plus I think it needs to be a little lower anyway.

Removed the remains of the old gutters, panel below trunk lid and the sub rails rear cross member. After grinding all the weld out I think it's ready to start work. I think the sides are spread out form some previous work so the deck lid doesn't fit right, plan to address that before reassembly

Mothers day weekend work on th ecoupe
Media
I said I was going to make new rain gutters but Howell Sheet Metal has a complete set for such a good price I decided to go that way. Top piece fit perfect, R/H side needed a little trimming but after that it lined up perfect.

this is as far as I could go. the gutter from Howell are great but would be better if they sent a drivers side gutter and not 2 passenger side parts. Howell says it's on the way, so no major complaints.
