The black Tudor is John Olay’s. Absolutely killer.
As 325w said, check welding suppliers. One brand is Western Enterprises.
The gold coupe is a ‘32
Any idea how much curve is in the AH hinges?
^That’s a 28 or 29 Model A
I bought a pair of front fenders for my 54 F100 from Midwest. Because they were the least expensive by quite a bit. I believe they are seconds, so...
The Lindberg 1/8 scale T should be less expensive and more readily available.
I knew a guy that used a length of wood, either a 1x2 or broom handle. Left foot on the brake, right on the gas, left hand on the wheel, right...
Try to see if there are toy shows in your area. I haven’t bought a kit at a store or hobby shop in many, many years. Toy show vendors will have...
White furniture is still there. My wife and I bought our couch there a couple years ago.
That black with flames one is Teddy Z’s from Michigan. He told me that was around 1965 before he put a top on it. Oh, and the blower is fake too.
Isn’t it cool how accurate the bodies were way back? Actual door handles, side markers, taillights, etc.
It’s a major award!
I’ve seen them before. I think the double ring is because the bucket isn’t deep enough for a normal sealed beam. I think they look kinda goofy.
I have a Boot Hill Express, from the last reissue, un-built in the box. I’ll probably never build it, but it’s just so darn cool to look at!
Tamiya rattle cans are great. Sprays very thin so details like emblems aren’t buried, yet covers well. But it isn’t very shiny so clear is required.
The AMT ‘66 Wildcat was re-issued recently. Knowing how AMT did things, most of the kit should be identical. I just looked through my ‘66 and...
Flip the axle around and see if the left front wears out?
What diameter is that sway bar? And what is the width eye to eye?
That’s cool! I assume it is intended to look like the Stone Woods Cook car. It worked.
He also won the Clint Brawnwer award at the Indy 500 one year. He basically made the entire back half of an old March Indy Car. It made the show too.
If they are Ford, 16” means they are ‘35. ‘32 wheels were 18”. ‘33-‘34 were 17”. Not positive but I assume other brands were similar.
One of the all-time greats. I got to meet him once at Michigan International Speedway in the ‘90’s. I heard all the stories about him being gruff,...
Hedman has a set for putting a SBC in a Jeep. They dump to the rear at an angle. Might work for you.
That’s a lot of trophies. I wonder what it takes to not get one?
Interesting that Twig and Kenney have consecutive NHRA license numbers.
I think that’s a Fox body, so strut front suspension. That would be very hard to swap. I think the rear is tri-link, but I could be wrong. And 4...
Looks like a Pitman arm below/drag link the rear radius rod. So it feeds forward to a bell crank.
Can’t be too hard, the AMT ‘49 Ford kit optional engine is a Caddy. Drops right in. But there is a big hole for the axle to pass through.
Hmm. Perhaps the owner or his “banker” lost interest in the cost. Too bad, was looking good.
