If the rust holes are up to 1/4" in diameter I would just cut it out and weld in new metal and be done with it.

I think I read about using the 63 Falcon V8 linkage on a Falcon forum. I have 14" rims on my set up.
I have the Granada spindles on my 61 Falcon, there is a lot of bump steer. I have read if you use the 1963 V8 Falcon steering linkage it works good.
Always open the oxygen valve slowly. Even the oil off your skin is enough to cause your oxygen regulator to blow up when opened up quickly.
