Hey youse guys... Thursday, January 8th... mark your calendar!!

Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle is once again abandoning all discretion in a sincere effort to spread holiday cheer within the HAMB community. Please accept their invitation to join them after 6:00 pm on January 8th for their annual holiday open house.

All of you Thursday Night Adult Beverage regulars know the way, so do the SW Chicago HAMB and Eggers but just as a reminder here's where you need to be:

Chad's directions from last year: Take 355 to North Ave, exit East. When you get to Addison Road (look for the Portillo's on the right) then turn left (north). At the first light (Factory Road) turn left (west). We're the 3rd building on the left.

Kevin's clarification from last year: Another landmark from that direction are the railroad tracks. When you cross them going east on North Ave. the next light is Addison Rd. Left takes you north to the first light (Factory Road). You can only go LEFT or WEST on Factory, 3rd building on the left.

This is an outstanding shop and it is well worth any effort to attend this HAMB holiday gathering!

 

Oh Happy Day!!! I can say for sure that David and I will be there, that was a hoot last year. I'll see if Tiger, Gina and Mike want to car pool again, WICKED GOOD TIME. We'll see ya there Larry. Mike

 

I'm glad everyone from last year had a great time!!! We can't wait to do it again this year. Take a break from shopping and (if needed) your visiting family) and come out and celebrate with all your friends. In person.

Please make a note of this. If you know someone that isn't on the hamb and plans on coming, please call them and let them know not to travel tonight.

We don't want anyone getting hurt on in an accident to attend our party. Please make note and call those you know.

WHILE ALL SNOW IS EXPECTED TO THE NORTH OF THIS LINE. A MIX OF SLEET... SNOW... AND FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED BETWEEN THE INTERSTATE 80 AND INTERSTATE 88 CORRIDORS WITH SIGNIFICANT ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80... SNOW WILL CHANGE TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WITH SIGNIFICANT ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED. THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SOUTH OF A DIXON TO JOLIET TO RENSSELAER LINE EARLY THIS EVENING... LESSER SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN 1 AND 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80... BUT SIGNIFICANT ICING WILL BE MORE OF A PROBLEM ACROSS THESE AREAS. Maybe I can find a ride out for the 8th since no one from the city was heading out tonight..... Sorry it had to be rescheduled, but it is for the better!!!!

 

Don't forget folks, this is rescheduled for the 8th of January!! The time, place and fun are all the same!

 

It'll be worth the trip just to meet Bob and Ryan and see them pickup "Lucky Strike" - that is still the plan, right Kevin?
