Lots of hard work already done. Built in the Vern Tardel traditional style. Here’s what is has, what’s been done, and what comes with it. Chassis: Original ‘28 chassis. Checked for parallel and straightness. Front frame horns straightened. Chrome spreader bar. Front crossmember clearanced for balancer and re-hot riveted with correct rivets. Vern Tardel style motor mounts welded in. Original center crossmember clearanced for torque tube. Rear Z-stepped Tardel style. Original ‘32 K-member dissected per Tardel’s dimensions, finish welded, and re hot-riveted in place. Original ‘32 pedal setup. Needs master cylinder bracket to mount master cylinder. All grade 8 hardware used as needed. Brakes: OEM ‘39 Ford Tudor 12” backing plates front and back. Converted over to Bendix style (like Bass Customs) all new shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, modified E-brake levers. New E-brake cable (Dennis Carpenter). Original Model A E-brake handle (need to be installed). OEM brake cable equalizer. NEW Jeep master cylinder (still in bag). NEW wheel cylinder hoses All new NiCopp lines that need to be plumbed. A complete kit, still in package. Master cylinder to pedal actuating rods. (4) All new Speedway/Boling Bros drums. Drivetrain: ‘47 Ford 59AB truck flathead. Bone stock. Ran good, no smoke, no overheating. Bought this as a drop in engine. On engine stand now. Needs ignition and carburetor, that’s it! AFCO aluminum aftermarket radiator. NEW, patina’d. Never ran coolant through it. ‘39 Ford Tudor 3 spd. Clean inside, no chipped/cracked teeth. Has a ‘39 swan neck shifter handle. Mounted with a ‘32 crossmember mount/closed driveshaft ‘39 Ford torque tube that was shortened and finish welded. Needs driveshaft end lathe cut to accept coupler for rear end mounting. Moon Devil head shifter knob. ‘39 Ford Rear banjo, 3.78 gears. New axle bearings, seals, lock nuts. New wheel studs. Car is on ‘41 Ford F1 rims. 5x5.5”bp 16x4-1/2” wide with May-Pop tires. Suspension: Rear: Rear spring original Model A with 8 leaves. New spring shackles and bushings. Old Yankee Speed Shop spring over mounts. ‘48 Ford OEM shock mounts. ‘47 Ford rear wishbones. NOS gas charged shocks. Front: ‘36 Ford OEM front axle. Dropped 2-1/2” by Okie Joe. Shock stud bungs welded to face of axle. Ford F100 front shock mounts, modified the Tardel way. ‘39 Ford round back spindles. Modified by Okie Joe for clearance. New bearings, seals and wheel studs. Original, modified Model A perch pins. NEW shackles and bushings. Original Model A front spring. Reversed main leaf. Original ‘32 Ford front wishbone. New rubber pivot ball and retaining cup. Steering: ‘47 Ford F1 box and column. Clean, no bind box. Unmodified column. Comes with Model A mount flange with bearings to convert as per Tardel book. Comes with pitman arm. Custom length tie rod and drag link with new tie rod ends.
