‘31 Pickup quickchange

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Detrich’s Hot Rods, Sep 10, 2019.

  1. I’m getting ready to build a 31 pickup truck. Traditional build. But wanting to run a quick change in the back. Does anyone have any idea how wide I need to go and any recommendations on how to do it? I’ll be running 35 wire wheels and a 4 link. Any help would be great. Thanks!

  2. Well, with no more info than it's going under a Model A Truck I have to say stay with stock Model A rear axle width and use 39/48 rear brakes. Been done a million times already and seems to work out.
