Oh, I strongly disagree. Those men truly hotrodded those vehicles. Modified to go on snow is no different in basis than modifying to race on sand and no one is complaining about TROG.

This is not a vintage tractor site or a vintage snowmobile site.

Let's see some more jalopies! Maybe a farmyard gow job or two!

I guess the mods can decide. No one is forcing you to read the thread. You might want to re-read your signature. :)

Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge all produced off road vehicles in the old days. In the fifties I had a 28 roadster with the rumble seat made into a wood pickup bed. I paid a neighbor $40.00 bucks for it. I put a couple of bags of cement in the back a ran wild through the Monterey Hills between LA and South Pasadena. We either climbed or attempted to climb every hill and firebreak we could find. I ended up putting some aluminum head on it and removed the muffler for a little more power.
I have a p***ion for searching out old historic western trails and have found remnants of old cars in places no one would believe. I drove my roadster over 1500 miles of dirt roads when following the Pony Express Trail from St. Joseph, MO to CA back in 2015. Looking over these pictures makes me want to do it again.
