Event Coverage ★★ The H.A.M.B. Needs Your Help!!!!! ★★

Hey guys, I need your help. But first, a backstory of sorts...

About two years ago, I found myself running a website that wasn't what I wanted it to be. It was huge, it was messy, and it was starting to lose focus. Also around this time, I lost two family members and started to go through that phase in life that everyone eventually goes through. It's when you realize your mortality and start to wonder just what in the hell it is you have to offer as a legacy of any kind. About a year ago, I decided to take action.

It started with the site's redesign and continued on with a massive refocus on the traditional. This refocus came with renewed moderation as well as the introduction of "forced" thread prefixes (when you have to pick a thread prefix before you can post) as well as the introduction of the period focused forums dedicated to traditional hot rods and customs.

A long the way and true to my historical performance as an admin, I made a lot of mistakes and misjudgments. That said, the end result is something I'm really proud of. I like the H.A.M.B. today. It feels more personal to me. It feels more "underground" and more like the early days of this thing of ours. More than anything, I feel like there is a higher percentage of folks that frequent and use the H.A.M.B. for the right reasons than there was two years ago.

All that being said and now that we have the right vibe and feeling on the forum (in my opinion), I think it's time to get back to work. I think it's time to get your input as a "real" user of this place and then use that input to make functional changes around here for the better.
