So, here it is...my 1,000th post. Admittedly, a minor accomplishment in the grand scheme of things, but noteworthy none the less. It only took me 10 years to get to this point, since I tend to listen and learn, more than I post. I try to only post when I have something useful to say, instead of posting inane banter or smiley faces on every thread.

I know that it has become a tradition to have a charity auction to support the HAMB when you reach 1,000 posts, but I don't really have anything that anyone would want. So, I'll just continue to be an Alliance Member...and I'll extend an open invitation to any HAMBers that find themselves in the neighborhood. You have a standing invite to stop by and shoot the ****, or if you need the limited resources of my humble garage, that works too. Just shoot me a PM when you're p***ing through. The music is always cold, and the beer is always loud!

    Viva La Hamb!

  2. I tend to listen more than post too. Congrats.

All your 1000th post needs is a cool pic!

Well I knew nothing of the 1000 post auction I must admit! But no one wants to listen to my BS anyway! Congrats and thanks for teaching me something! Joe

Congradulations on your milestone. Thanks for the invite. What a cool workshop. Get that Velvet Elvis up...Like Kiwi I like to yap about things...add some smilies to let you all know I have been around if I don't say anything. Hell sometimes I actually have constructive things to add. Between you and e1956 I had my evenings greatest chuckle with the velvety situation. Keep on hotrodding...

1000 posts in 10 years isn't bad. It's what like one post every 3 1/2 days? Quality over quan***y isn't bad either. Nice shop by the way. I think i'd rather be in there than the house anyway.

  20. Love the shop, thanks for sharing!!

Nice shop. I remember when those velvet paintings were on every abandoned gas station corner for $5. Wish I'd bought some. 1000 posts is fine-another 15K and and you'll be close to HRP -at least where he is now. :)

I've been to Baraboo-great circus museum and one of the worst thunderstorms I have ever been in-certainly the worst with three kids in the car and a 17' canoe tied on top.

  25. Kool garage! BARN! my wife said that its a good thing I mess with cars and that I'm not a farmer because the animals would die waiting for attention. I think she's saying I'm slow on my projects LOL

Well, we have 4 barns on the property. This one is all mine for the cars. She gets two for the animals. The last one is for storage. Everyone is happy.

After looking at your photos I would say "Lucky Stiff" fits perfectly. I would kill for that lay out. Congrats.

Congratulations on your milestone, great looking barn. How old is it, well maintained or a restoration, the start of a HAMB Barn thread? Bob
