    Sorry, just saw this. Granada spindles reamed for the 2" drop, Eaton's lowest-rated coils for 6 cyl trimmed 1 1/4", w/ 1/2" thick isolator pads. Shocks are gas KYBs. I have the 1 1/8 sway bar from SouthwestTbirds. I'm using a hydroboost unit for the disc brakes. 215 wide tires on 15 x5(?) Rocket Igniters.
    In the back I have the Ranchero 6 leaf springs on the narrowed 9", 1" lowering blocks, Monroe 1956 Ford shocks, 235 tires on 6" (?) * Igniters.
    * bad memory......may have 6" up front and 7" in back;
    Just a note........none of this matters when you are setting up YOUR ride height unless your identical car also has an identical drivetrain. Case in point: Eatons has 3 different coil springs for 57s. In 1957, Ford actually used 9 different coil springs depending on model, drivetrain and accessories so that all vehicles leaving the factories would have identical ride heights.

  2. I remember hearing that there were some late '80s Thunderbirds that had a 1" front bar that would fit '54-'56 Fords, same size that was used on station wagons and sedan deliveries. Does anybody know exactly what years of Thunderbirds have the right one. Local yard just pulled in a '90 Bird and wondered if it would be the same.
