To any of you running 1/4's om the front of your rigs.
    What length are your springs?

How did you determine what to use for springs based on the weight of your car?

Thanks to all who can help me out....................

I used Posies quarter eliptical fronts on a project...I know that doesn't help a damn bit....but on the rear I used what I had laying around.....a 40 ford front spring cut in half....you can always pull or add a leaf or two.

Say you want a Model A type of car. Take the Model A front spring and drill two more holes on either side of the existing stack bolt. Install two bolts, remove the original, cut in the center. Wow! It's quarter eliptics with the correct rate for a Model A!
