  1. One trick I was taught is to aim for the horizon and the center of your lane down at the other end.
    Lock in on that.
    Most people get in trouble overcorrecting. If you aim for the distant target, you will make smaller corrections.
    Even when braking, aim for the distant horizon and the center of your lane. Do not turn around to try and find the other car. They may be in front of you anyway.
