I used a 40 chevy hood, turned nose-down...just used the sides and bridged the resulting gap with a piece from a 50 chevy car door...still has the molding clip holes in it. I thought I was really cool until I tried to fit in the damned thing...I was too long and the car was too short! Sold it off to a guy who wanted the engine and s-10 ******.. Fast forward a few years and a fellow Omahan, ****, bought it out of a field and added a body section in to make it longer...installed a 235 and drove it for years!
