I'm ready. If anyone has questions, needs directions and such, contact me. I'm from the Joplin-MO-KAN area. I may be able to help.
I'm getting there. I keep thinking of other things that I should tinker with before the race. As for me, I'd drive down tonight if I could.
Been thrashing about fixing things that need to be attended to. And then there is this: http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20972 All that is left is paint, and final ***embly. I'm sure Chris is begging for Wednesday night when he can finally sleep.
"Imagine how excited you will be ,when you favorite HAMB Drags stories come to life, on a magical Jalopy Journal World vacation." LMAO!
My garage looks like a bomb went off in it. Started this project from scratch last November after my first visit to the HAMB Drags. I should have just put my bed in the garage for the last 30 days. Hope I can get everything done in time to bring the car with me. Whether I finish or not, Im goin!! Its not really an old Hot Rod but it works for me. See you guys there . Tim Broken Arrow, OK
It just hit me this morning. I'm a little slow, and I didn't get the coupe fixed until this weekend. Calling for a trailer this morning, and a motel in Springfield gave me the "I can't wait" feeling in my stomach. I'm going to be officially worthless the next few days at work.
This is gonna KICK ***. The best part about this for me personally is knowing that everyone else is on vacation, too.-meaning it's a nice relaxed atmosphere. The anticipation is killing me.
