Hey hillbilly........I checked with my local NAPA dealer on this harness you describe and they wanted to know what I had been smokin'. Can you give me any more info or part numbers on it??
I bough a one wire from NAPA, special price $45 + core. 13-4011-SW is the number (SW is single wire) They had two on the shelf they are so popular. My stock amp gauge in my '47 Ford only reads discharges, not charges. I have a volt gauge in a panel under the dash and you can see it's charging from that though. One kick up to 1200 rpm and it kicks on. I don't even usually hit the throttle, just by the time I pull out of the driveway in first it's enough to turn it on.
