I currently have a non posi 3.08 rear end that has all new brake parts... but now I have the chance to buy this complete low mile (20k) rearned from a late model ls1 transam. It is a positraction, 3.23 geared, large disc braked complete with calipers everything the cost is 200 bucks which seems like a good deal... my questions are this...is 200 bucks a good deal and does anybody know of a website where i can get the width of this rearend? I am hoping it is 60"
I'd offer 100. But yeah, sounds good on the very limited info given. So getting a width will be about the same as getting this answer. Type in 1980 specifications on google, you'll find that.
