    Men

New rebuilt flathead with 32 3 speed and replacement 10 inch clutch.

Problem is that new clutch slightly different from old one so ends of fingers fouling transmission housing.

I think I can spacer around 1/8 th between transmission and bell housing anyone done that?

    Thanks for helping.

  2. It sounds as tho you have the wrong pressure plate..you need one with the shorter fingers for the 1 3/8-10 throw-out brg.The one you have is more than likely for use with 1"-10 TO brg

If the fingers are fouling the TO bearing nose you have the wrong PP. If ,however the weights on the outer end of the fingers are hitting the trans case you have 2 choices 1 grind the weights off or 2 get a PP that does not have the weights. Your post is not clear exactly what your prob is to me.
