I had plans to do a 1000th post thread, but instead I got caught up in another thread and spent my 1000th post else where. So as ***led, this is my 1001st post. Not all that impressive compared to many hambers but for those that know me know that I don't talk that much either. I have been a member since April 28, 2007 and an alliance member consistently since 2009 or 2010. I have met some great new friends via the hamb and have learned a great deal and I appreciate everything about it. I thought it would be fitting to spend my 1001st post with pictures of my cars. It's easy to tell my p***ion is early Fords! So here is to 1000 more!
If only the 1002'nd post is as cool as this one !! Congrats'. Honestly any of your posts are better then my quantifiable "ooooo, ohhhh, and wow" posts. Seriously. The number does not matter as much with content as yours. Thanks for all.
Great bunch of cars. I didn't see a single one that I didn't like...........Keep at it, you're making good progress on that post count!
Thanks for all the compliments. A few details: 27 T roadster: My 1st hotrod build. Started it when I was in highschool 1993 and fished it in 2003. I didn't know what a traditional hot rod was, I just built it how I was taught by an old rodder. It's raced in the hamb drags , the hotrod hill climb, TROG , and the hotrod dirt drags. 1929 A Tudor: my 3rd hotrod build. Built with mostly spare parts laying around the shop and a car that I found in a ba*****t owned by a KC doctor for 29 years. 32 5w: current build. Trying to bring an old dead jalopy back to life as a respectable hotrod. 49 ford coupe: just an amateur restore I bought in 2003 and drove it till the flathead died and then put a 289 in it. It's a good driver. 55 Ford Victoria: my first car. Owned since 1992. 302/c4. Just a tired old driver that will soon get a complete rebuild. Upcoming projects: 30 coupe ( was a hotrod out of Cali , probably built post war. '40 v8, 40 steering , 39 box, bent spoke Kelsey (not pictured). Another 32 5w. This will get a wicked y block and a 4" chop. 48 ragtop is the next project after I finish the current 32. Chopped folding top and low with a 49 Plymouth grill. If anyone is ever in the north KC area, give me a call.
