I knew Lil John had passed away. But didn't know Dennis, owner of the still listed business R&B Automotive Engineering, is now gone too.

Thanks Roo. If I revert the model to Root Beer it will be as a tribute To Li'l John. I remeber the car touring Omaha when I was a kid but the issue of the kit I have wasn't credited to him so it wasn't until recent years (thanks H.A.M.B.) that I made th connection. The next day, deconstruction began on the model…

 

Revell's Lil's 'T' was a revel(l)ation in molded colour & detail- it & the other Revell Lil' John kits ( inc. AA/FC's) re-set the benchmark higher than ever before in retail 1/25 scale.
