Even a homeless guy could buy a can of rattle can chrome. A can of chrome and couple of beers less than 10 bucks.
I love threads like this! Ive always been more of a custom guy than a hot rod guy, but threads like this make me want to dive in and take the effort to build a pretty little high boy of my own...
Has it only been 11 days? Looks great flop. I love seeing a pile of parts then the complete car. What's in line next, maybe that 34 Tudor?
Absolutely beautiful! I'm saving up to have you put together a '34 pickup for me!!! (Don't hold your breath! )
Great thread & great job. You need to drag out your build longer so you can build up your HAMB groupie following though. Excellent metal work!
Flop, How did you address those stamping drag lines on the top of the rear quarters? I've got a couple on my Brookville, not nearly as bad though. Great work!
Very nice work! I've got a head start on a 30 Roadster, only frame, cowl and fenders, thought it would be too much work. But this makes me think I should attempt to make it whole again!
I hate to tell you, but you got the wrong taillight panel. I bought a decklid and taillight panel from Brookville earlier this summer and when I put them on they fit terrible in the middle, just like your picture. I called them up and they immediately knew the problem. They sent me a different tail panel no charge and it fit perfect. It had a slight radius to fill the gap.
makes a model a roadster look easy... and purty. bet you could sell a bunch of model a decklid inner, lower 3"... the flange, moat, and the rise up to and 1" of the inner panel... I will buy [2]... go flop go !
