Ill be there this year. Probably grab some grub at Woodys boathouse while im there. They have some great food.
when I was in Junior High living on Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii our neighbor had a wooden four p***enger boat with a Olds V8 - Wow, those pipes rumbling in the water is like no other. that boat and another neighbor that had a '57 Ford Ranchero with what I think were '59 Chevy headlights installed vertically really helped to get me hooked on Hot Rods & Customs. July 29-30 is the 4TH Annual South Lake Tahoe Wooden Boat Cl***ic to be held at Tahoe Keys Marina & Yacht Club. Beautiful part of the world.
Wow... I would of loved to hear that boat you are talkin about,I think it is one of the best sounds in the world.I would love to someday go to the Lake Tahoe show,I hear its the best of the best.All I know is im lookin forward to Arrowhead.I hope to see some nice Woody's up there at the car part of the show.Hopefully this one goes.
I hope the boat from the movie on Golden Pond will be there this weekend.They finished the restoration a couple months ago and showed it at a big show back east.It probably won't be there but it would be nice. Hopefully there will be some great woodies there too like the Buick in post #134

This show is great Mike,I always try and go.I love Arrowhead and there are always some reaaly nice cars.Definitely worth the little drive.Sometimes they have the winner from lake Tahoe from the previous year,always some very high quality boats.
