Today I had to get to the barber, I was starting to look homeless. Todays weather here in the black hills of South Dakota was in the low to mid 40s so I thought let’s take a hot rod and an open car to boot. The Cruze was about 50 miles round trip up to the little town of Hill City very close to Mt. Rushmore. I bundled up in layers and took off! A hotrod ride it very therapeutic and I don’t look homeless now!
I'll bet it was below the mid 40s in the shade of that hill! I think your a lot tougher than us West Coasters.
We'll frollic & play, the Eskimo way, Rodd'n in a Winter Wonderland ........ Your ride is cool, ain't it thrill'n, bet your nose get's a chill'n ............
A few years ago, my son and I drove my roadster to Bruce Larson's ( Funny Car Champion ) annual get together. It was 27 degrees out when we left, and 35 degrees when we came back. We were in the only roadster there. A Hot Rod is to be driven and enjoyed. Good for you.
Hot Rod therapy is the best... even when nuthin's goin' wrong! Luckily it doesn't get prohibitively cold in my neck of the woods... We're looking forward to our "Lotus Park Cruise" New Year's morning here in the Sierra Nevada foothills!
Glad you enjoyed the ride, I moved south because I'm old and hate winter. The only thing I miss is snow skiing.
