Hi all, I have a 3x2 94 set up im building for a y block, for the secondary carbs i have some vintage speed 12 degree throttle plates, however no matter how i jiggle them they dont seem to seal that well, in fact in the closed position the first of the progrssive dischare holes are open(the ones above the idle mixture adjuster hole) I kinda think thats not going to allow it to idle low enough. The original plates looked like they closed tighter. So am I missing something, how to get them matched is my question, any help appreciated. I have tried each plate in all 4 possible postions, thanks, Steve Gooch.

  3. Steve; Find "****ster27" in the members listing and send him a P.M. I think he's our best recourse for good Carb information. To do that go to Comunity on the above listings bar then click on Members. The rest is alphabetical listings then send a Privet message. Good Luck
