I was actually mistaken. The front wheels are magnesium halibrand sprints not kidney beans. They should look pretty good with the Mehelich wheels on the back.

Thanks for posting your pics. How about more detail on the purchase of the 5W and picking it up at the hotel and your trip home. Love the use of the hose clamps on the front spring.

Well, tanner bought it off ebay. He asked if Ian (the previous owner) would bring it up from San Clemente to our Ontario hotel. He did, super cool guy by the way. We then had wheels and were mobile.

You have to go to an IN N OUT if your in california. We got the pleasure of having a parking spot at our hotel next to Groucho's badass corvette. The start of our road trip home.

Gas prices were soaring down there! Tanner and I standing next to the 5 winder (I think I was trying to look cool for some reason). The rest are various shots heading north. Neat Yale motorcycle we past.

Heading toward Mt. Shasta. Then we took highway 97 into Oregon and stopped at Klamath Falls, Oregon for the night. We wrapped the car up because we thought it would rain and so nobody knew what they were stealing.

Tanner and Sam: Here are the Pictures of my coupe that I still have. I bought it in West Covina when I was 20 for $800 and 8 months later was at Andy's Picnic in San Francisco for my 21st b-day in 1974. The 4 smaller pictures were from the day I purchased it. The red pictures are how it looks now.

There was a cool mural on a building in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We thought it was a cool place for some pics.

Here we are stopped in Goldendale, WA. We backed up the hill to fill up the rearend with lucas. Really cool junk yard in Toppenish, but bad picture taken by me. We were finally in familiar territory.

Tanner's father in law dave showed up in his truly amazing 34 roadster. Pictures don't do this car justice, it is over the top cool. If I won the lotto I would try my damnest to own this car. Sam

My dad (Lytles Garage) showed up in his 36 panel. We then had 4 sweet hot rods sitting in front of the store.

Before and After. One week ago today we had just gotten ahold of this car 1200 miles away from home. We made it home without a hiccup. It got a shave and a haircut (as baskerville would say) and now is ready to be a daily driver for tanner. How freakin cool is that! Sam
