Thanks HJmaniac,,,I hade forgotten that Berts amazing car is a Dodge!! When Bert came to us with the car ,I only needed a few hours to do the prep work before painting. There are not many surfaces on this car that are not changed, but Bert did a fantastic job,so the need for prep work was minimal.
Proof enough, that the older "MOPARS ", are elegant and classy and are worthy of being saved, whether as stock or as a kick ass custom !
There's a story behind this one -- when the first ones came rolling off the line, someone discovered they'd forgot to put taillights on them. They hurriedly found some old 30s parking lights and slapped them on the sides and saved the day.
My 35 Coupe I buried in the back corner years ago. Would take an act of Congress to get it out, but hopefully someday!
Nope, the ‘ol artillery wheels are long gone and you’re absolutely right…I really should dig that out. It’s day will come but right now, got a couple projects ahead of it.
I saw this car back in the 80's @ a K.K.O.A event... (Holland, Michigan?)... pictures do not do it justice.
I have to suggest that you guys who have been posting to this thread lately should go back and read the first post of this thread.

Years ago I had a '34 Dodge pickup. Talk about nice lines! Way ahead of the other makes of the era for sure.
