  4. Is that the "T" bucket that Frank was going to build for his daughter Tammy many years ago ?

It is nice when a T can be a "unique T."
Obvious that the finish line is in sight.
    Here's hoping it's a fun time.
Just so as ya know. Ford pickups before '25 were all after-market.
I like big go karts;) This one should do well.

    It's gonna be a great build, John.
I remember seeing Mustang taillights on several hot rods & pickups in the late '60's in Ohio.

Must be an imposter, unless my ex took it, she did drive it more than me lol
I had it at Lancaster NY nostalgia drags in 2010 and of course the ******** Happening in Leroy NY, everything else I did was local shows and cruise nights in 2010.

  17. I agree with the Tie Rod change. I may have checked out putting it under the steering arms and lower 4 bar tube before cutting things up. No doubt you already did that. Probably gets below the scrub line but ya never know till ya try.

Keep in mind that total up AND down travel of the front axle is generally only 2-21/2" . bend the steering arms as needed & be aware of "caster lift" during lock to lock .

I'm adding an operating door to the Whatever project. Same reason: old, fat**** climbing over the side is not a sight you're gonna get out of your mind.

What brand is that hydraulic throwout bearing ***embly? I'm 3 pedaling mine, and using either a T5 or a T10, space being the deciding factor.

And you are making more progress than I am. Remember do just 1 task a day, and it will get done

Mechanical linkage is so simple & reliable , hydraulics are for brakes ...

Nice work. The last T-bucket I did was Son an Dad fun for my son, almost 20 years or more back=big fun.. I did do a HAMB Tech on sewing seats at home, for Son's "T" too. You may get a tip or two out of.
{ I didn't see this front shock stuff talked about or I missed it ] There is one thing I would think needs changing> The shock/shackle triangle=The end arm movement dose not move the same as the bolt hole in the triangle= Well be a bind,an be a prob. Remove the one part with 3 holes*> trash can that,, and,add two parts/one like a reg. shackle{ just two holes to replace} then another with just two holes of what ever long you like{ with one hole on same bolt as shackle} The other hole can hook to your friction shock arm tip=now it will not bind as long as it can swing a tiny bit.

Unwanted note likely is; I totally hate friction shocks anyway ,But if your going that way,be sure too kept that friction bolt tight= or they are just **** n don't work even the tiny bit they do if tight.;)

Cleaner on top of the motor. If you get any blowby it will be on the Valve Covers / Block and not the intake.

I put them here on my vette covers, clear of the linkage, not as noticeable either
