    Fords can be easily and cheaply converted by simply using a used 12 V generator body with the fields already in place. Replace the 6V rotor in the 12V body and use a 56 Ford voltage regulator. I used a generator body from a 64 Ford 6 cyl. Fairlane. Free everybody thinks you need a 1 wire alternator. :D

    I did a tech on converting them way back when. I'm sure it's on the HAMB somewhere if you want to hunt.
