I tried searching this but didn’t come up with anything. Is it possible to use this Yankee Turnflex 730/6 switch once I convert this car to 12V ? IMG_3075.jpeg IMG_3074.jpeg

Excellent, thanks for the quick reply! I assumed so since I’ve seen that original switches could be used with 12V but I didn’t want to mess it up. It has the perfect patina to go with the car. The wire for the light bulb needs resoldered to the socket and I know I need to change to a 12V bulb. Thanks again

The contacts inside the 6v units are heavy duty and will work forever on 12v.

  6. If there is a bulb in it just change it out to 12v of the bulbs too. Other it might just burn out sooner.

Should be good on the bulb once I solder the wire back on. It has a # 51 which an internet search shows it crosses over to a 1445 in 12V
