Until I added a 32 cowl vent on my 29 driving in the blistering sun on a 90+ day was worse than a drive in the rain. I`m adding a retractable top this year, not for the rain but so I can take longer drives in the blistering sun.
When I built that car I didn't account for a floor drain, the first time I got caught there was a lot of water inside, I drilled drain holes after that ! Over the past 17 years I've gotten caught in several rain storms and long drives in the blistering sun, like I had mentioned earlier at this point in my life I'd build something with a top and doors.
I am not one who tans. At forty-six i have already had multiple precancerous lesions frozen off my face with multiple warnings to avoid exposure. And i hate sunscreen smell and greasy skin.
