I used to daily a 3200lb car with 115hp, 3.90:1 gear and 25" tires with a 3spd. It was no big deal to drive it into Austin everyday. Highway and around town, I drove that car all over Texas and kept up with traffic no problem.

According to this tire chart a 1.1 inch larger tire (26.1 vs 25) yields 44 mph @ 2200 rpm. So, probably about 42 mph with a 25 inch tire. To drive even 60 mph would mean about 3300 rpms. 70 mph would probably be close to 4000 rpms.

I moved the truck to different storage. Maybe I’ll start on it this fall. I got to thinking. There is a good 3 speed already on the 235 I have for it. It probly makes sense to just throw it together with 3.55:1 and call it good. Maybe 3.23

3.55 is 58mph at 2500 rpm’s. Not sure how pleasant the truck will be at that speed anyway lol
