havent heard the word, but i'd actually prefer a trip out to Arizona than LACR in the west. Used to run Palmdale a lot, and it just doesnt do it for me. Night drive road trip in the summer to Phoenix sounds great though. even though its close to home, havent been up to Sears Point lately, but that too could be neat. -scott noteboom
Left coast gets it all. Cacklefest, Nostalgia Drags, shoot! But I like the idea of a westerly roadtrip for all us fast ass bad asses from the east of the rockies to show you westerlies how we do it!!!
Works for me...when it gets closer, we'll have to organize a carvan from the Bay, Sac, Fresno, etc. Wish I had something to run...maybe next year. Bryan
Arizona on the coast??? Damn, and I was HOPING it would take place in mid Cali (Sacramento, Fresno, etc)
It's pretty much impossible for a guy like me to host a drag race in SoCal... Arizona is bad enough... Track cost, insurance, etc... You guys have it bad on the west coast!
So-Cal has ENOUGH shows/races..... I was thinkin' further N. But yeah, Cali probably has alot of B.S. regulations, regardless of location.....
I predict more folks from East of Arizona than from West of Arizona. I hope I can be one of them. And I hope to be in something "fast" this time...
Moldy manages to pull off a couple of shows/race events at Palmdale every year. Of course now Bernie is having to build another track, LACR is being evicted so we don't know for sure what's going on there.
Not to bring this up because I live here...lol, but how about Albuquerque...Its really nice here in May and the track would be really cheap. Just an Idea, I would also go to Phx, Hell I'm shooting for Mokan again.

Us AZ boys have known about this for a little while and we were asked to keep it under our cowboy hats till the big cheese said something. Once again Ryan put me down for anything you need and I will talk to the Mrs about hosting a true southwestern BBQ here at the house. Maybe we can show you guys from out of state real salsa and chips.
It all sounds good to me, except I wish one of the events was during the summer when the kid is out of school.
