I recently bought my old rpu back i had 30 years ago. Originaly i ran 15x6 smoothies on the front and 15x7 rear. Looked pretty good. Previous owner changed the wheels and ran 14' in the front. Doesn't look bad either except for the style of wheel. I'm undecided...14 or 15 in front. Tires are like new and if i go 15 i have to buy new skins. What are you guys running up front. Order going in monday
You put 15" rims all around before, so why not do it again? Sell the 14" skins and buy the 15" rims you really want, I wouldn't let 2 good 14" tires make your decision for you. Personally I've never been a fan of 14"/15" staggered rim sizes on rods.
Well i have to agree with the 14-15 thing. The tires are not a deciding factor here realy. I was just wondering what everyone else is running.
My Es*** runs 14/15 right now, but when I replace the mags with steelies I'll go to 15's all around and simply use smaller tires on the front for a bit of a rubber rake.
I think your truck would look great with Chrome ford wheels, with 5.60's or even 5.00's and 8.20's with the most narrow wide whites you can get. Thats just me though, its your call, whatever makes you dig it.
I ran a 14/15 combination on my roadster for a long time. Currently running 15/16. It might be my imagination, but I think it handles better. I'm certain it looks better.
