SOLD I have a set of 15x3.5 magnesium Halibrand 2037 spindle mounts. I purchased them from the original owners best friend. (He’s selling for the owners wife) he stated that his friend purchased these in 1960 for a bantam he raced. he also shared that in the early 2000’s they took the car to Kentucky for the Bowling Green Hot Rod reunion. His friend stated that Don Garlits tried to buy these wheels off him several times and his friend decided that if Mr Garlits wanted them that bad then he should probably hold on to them. the car was sold a few years later but thinking of Mr Garlits offer, he pulled the wheels off and held onto them. He passed a few years back and his friend is now selling all the left over parts he had for the Mrs and that’s where I come into the picture.
