I'm in need of 16" front tires. Would prefer to go with black wall radials but don't see much out there. Any advice on a 26" - 28" tall tire that will fit on 4" rim ? Thanks for any and all feedback.
I'm interested in the answers given for this question, too. I know Michelin makes something that's acceptable in looks. r
Coker and DiamondBack both have them... http://store.cokertire.com/tire-sty...wall/600r16-coker-classic-blackwall-tire.html http://dbtires.com/2009_catalog/hi/23.htm I use DiamondBack 1 Series on 16 x 5" artillery wheels on my '33 coupe. They are available both in blackwall and whitewall. Coker has also got 16" blackwalls.
Not sure about a name brand that is superior in looks but...but I believe that you may be able to squeeze a 215/85/r16 tire on a 4" rim?
Check with Coker, I believe I just saw something how they introduced a new radial that has the look of a bias-ply and comes in 16"
Check out our Coker Classic 16" radials. I suggest the 550R16 or the 600R16. Both are steel belted radials, available in blackwall and will fit a 4" rim fine. The 550R16 is 26.88" tall and the 600R16 is 28.36" tall. http://store.cokertire.com/550r16-coker-classic-blackwall-tire.html http://store.cokertire.com/600r16-coker-classic-blackwall-tire.html Thanks, Jess Coker Tire Company 1317 Chestnut Street Chattanooga, TN 37402 1-800-251-6336 www.Coker.com
"Check out our Coker Classic 16" radials. I suggest the 550R16 or the 600R16." The DB's are less expensive. r
