Customs 16 Splined Universal Joint?

    I have an old universal joint with 16 splines.

    Any guesses to car it belonged to?

    uh....that's not a steering Ujoint, it's probably from a torque tube drive line

    '30s Chevrolet Standard ? The LH yoke bolts to the mainshaft of the trans.
    Probably a bad guess going by the oil "maze" groove.

    I agree it looks like a torque tube U-joint. No idea *what* application though.

    Looks like a big-truck pto joint.
