18" Polished SS Mufflers

I have 2, Brand spankin NEW Speedway polished SS mufflers, 2" in/out. selling at Speedway at about $176 each. $120 each, + shipping to the lower 48. thanks, mike roman (the junkyard pirate).

 

wanted to know what they sounded like, so I blew thru them as hard as I could. they sound Bad ***!!

 

so shiney you can see yourself in them.

 

guy wanted to borrow them so he could see if they fit. he looked kinda shaky, so I scratched my name in both of em. should come out with some polishing.

 

got them back. he welded them to the galvanized pipes and now they have fuzzy white stuff all over.

 

i'll use em on my 37.

 

i'm gonna have the bottom of that 37 chromed so i'll be needin those mufflers

 

i need a vat big enouff to dip that body in, you got one?

 

i'm keeping these and gonna sell the Smithys

 

take a guess on the cost of chroming the underside and they told me the floor would also be chromed because of the dipping process. that and the cost of shipping it to Casa de Peso, Mexico might just make me re-think chroming.

 

i have now opted for spray on silver paint. who's gonna see the underside anyway? last time someone looked was when I hit that old lady and she rolled under the car. lucky for her only one back tire got her. later she did comment on how clean the bottom was, but her gl***es had been knocked off so I take that with a grain of salt.
