    Sturdier, but would there be more noise from things rattling around in a metal box? Depends on what is kept inside.

    More weight to be supported by dash structure might lead to more rattles if mounting hardware starts to loosen.

    I'm sure it would be substantial, but being fabricated from metal there is the possibility of the contents rattling around when driving, that could easily be addressed by lining the box with felt or vinyl material.

    I ordered a glove box from Dennis Carpenter and realized with all the modifications I did under the dash with the heat & air unit the was limited room for a glove compartment I cut it up and resized it, It will now hold a pair of gloves or a tube of chap stick and my registration papers. :eek: HRP
