Just picked up a 22 Dodge roadster and I need to stamp a VIN into it. Any clues on a number that would sound right to the DMV? I heard I can stamp one in if I know a similar VIN... but its not the same frame or anything... all new.
I don't know about cars, but when I built my trailer I think they gave me a number. Then I stamped it on the trailer and took it to DMV to show them.
Serial numbers from 1922 DBs go from 600,885 to 740,672. But what are you going to do if you choose a number from someone else'scar? Don't have the orig frame? Number is stamped above the rear shackle of the front axle on the right rail. Also on the floor board tag. It might be safer with a state issued number. And you might want to read the instructions for NEWBIES to do an intro or the HAMB police will get you.
Eddy ...... Dont do anything till you talk to me .... I know how to do this. You shoulda asked me, Same thing i just Did Vaness'a "T" roadster Jot down the Vin sequence in the previous post and keep it handy, You will need it. And by the way, Go do a Intro cus there are a bunch of self appointed HAMB POLICE whinners on here that will give you a bunch of **** for not doing it.... I think its cus they actually dont have a car & have nuthin better to do with there time.
Jman, the number on the firewall has no meaning. It is a body number which even the best minds of the DBC have yet to decipher.
